The stakes couldn’t be higher in 2018.
We can elect representatives who fight for our values. We can build fairer districts and make huge strides towards ending gerrymandering. And we can pass statewide ballot initiatives that expand Medicaid, restore voting rights, and make our communities safer. On November 6, 2018, we have a once-in-a-decade chance to fight back.

Our Focus
The house
In key House races across the country, we have an opportunity to replace members who have worked against the will and well-being of their constituents with leaders who will actually fight for the people they represent.
It’s time to elect people who will reject cynical partisan politics, stand up to special interests, and give a true voice to their constituents. In these target districts, OFA volunteers are Organizing for ’18 to make that a reality.
Redistricting
For too long, partisan insiders and conservative politicians have rigged districts in their own favor—creating a system where they’re not accountable to their own constituents.
This year is our chance to fix it. In 2018, state-level elections will largely determine the process of how states redraw their congressional maps after the 2020 census.
Winning these elections is crucial to building a more fair democracy. OFA is strategically organizing to make a difference in these races.

In many states this November, voters can make an immediate impact on ballot measures.
We’re already building local teams to get the word out on these important initiatives, and Organizing For ’18 will play a crucial role in educating voters and turning out the vote.
